For over 20 years we have specialised in the mounting of authentic Firefighter Axes for retirements.

As you can see from the gallery of selected works these can be tailored to your specific requirements and we can supply the axe if needed. These axes are the real authentic type that are many years old unlike the new reproduction axes that are now available.

All axes are lovingly restored by removing the axe head for chroming. The handle will be treated and varnished as required. The mount itself will be solid oak (or similar) with a routed edge finished off with a baised backing

No two Firefighter Axe presentations are the same as this will dependant on who is the recipient and their particular tastes and requirements.

​

For example, it may be a WM that has completed over 20 years service. With this in mind this presentation axe could also have WM rank markings and the medal ribbon to compliment.

​

At Mount-it we can supply rank markings, engravings and medal ribbons or alternatively you can send us anything that you would like mounting, (including an axe) this will obviously reduce the overall cost. The cap badge of the recipients fire service always looks good and would be supplied by you. Prices on application.
